Spanner AI & Tech ("we", "us") respects your privacy. This policy explains what personal information we collect through spanneraitech.com, how we use it and the choices you have. We handle personal information in line with the Australian Privacy Principles.

What we collect

  • Details you give us when you fill in a form, book a call or email us: your name or business name, mobile number, email address, type of business, the service you're interested in and anything you write in the details box.
  • Booking details when you book a call through our booking page: your name, email address and the time you choose.
  • Website and advertising data: basic technical information such as your browser, device, pages visited and which ad or link brought you to our site. This is collected through standard web logs and advertising tools like the Meta Pixel (see below).

We don't ask for sensitive information such as health details, and we don't collect payment card details through this website.

How we use it

  • To reply to your enquiry, give you a quote and book or confirm appointments and calls.
  • To provide the services you ask us for.
  • To understand which of our ads and pages are working, and to show our ads to people likely to be interested.
  • To keep records we're required to keep by law.

We don't sell your personal information. We won't send you marketing unless you've asked us to, and you can opt out at any time.

Who we share it with

We only share your information with services that help us run the business:

  • Web3Forms, which delivers website form submissions to our email.
  • Proton (Proton Mail and Proton Calendar), which we use for email and for booking calls.
  • Cloudflare, which hosts this website.
  • Meta (Facebook and Instagram), for advertising, through the Meta Pixel.

Some of these providers store data outside Australia, including in Switzerland, the European Union and the United States. We choose reputable providers with strong security. We may also disclose information if the law requires it.

The Meta Pixel and cookies

This website may use the Meta Pixel, a small piece of code from Meta. It helps us measure how people respond to our Facebook and Instagram ads (for example, whether someone who clicked an ad later sent an enquiry) and helps Meta show our ads to people who are more likely to be interested. Meta may use cookies and similar technology to collect this information, and handles it under its own privacy policy.

You can control how Meta uses your information for ads in your Facebook ad preferences, and you can block or delete cookies in your browser settings. The website still works if you do.

We also save your light or dark mode choice in your browser so the site remembers it. This stays on your device.

Keeping it safe

We take reasonable steps to protect your information from misuse, loss and unauthorised access. We keep it only as long as we need it for the purposes above or as required by law, then delete it.

Accessing or correcting your information

You can ask to see the personal information we hold about you, ask us to correct it or ask us to delete it. Email admin@spanneraitech.com and we'll respond within 30 days.

Questions or complaints

If you have a question or a concern about how we've handled your information, email admin@spanneraitech.com and we'll work with you to sort it out. If you're not satisfied with our response, you can contact the Office of the Australian Information Commissioner at oaic.gov.au.
